I recently had the pleasure of going on a tour that surpassed all my expectations, leaving me with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the destination. This simple yet extraordinary tour deserves every single one of its well-deserved five stars.

I was so happy to explore this corner of the highlands on this hiking tour with Valerio! Never in a million years did I imagine such landscapes on Earth. We hiked through the volcanic dunes tucked between rivers and steppes. Valerio was an amazing guide as he was patient but also straightforward and hilarious to travel with. His storytelling was also super interesting and gave us a deeper sense of what living in Iceland is like. So grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! PS: If you’re undecided, I highly recommend visiting the highlands on a guided tour, as it’s safer to go with an experienced guide who knows how to drive these unpaved roads. We saw a couple with a flat tire, and insurance was NOT going to cover that for them! Go with peace of mind, and let the pros take you instead.

Excellent adventure - worked well with the kayaking adventure we scheduled for the afternoon in Sólheimajökull glacier lagoon. We had time to do the complete adventure in the morning and then in the afternoon we did the kayaking with the on-site adventure provider.

One of the most spectacular experiences you can have in Iceland! Valerio is professional, friendly, and incredibly patient. This tour is suitable for all skill levels—even if you’ve never climbed an ice wall before, his clear instructions and expertise will help you succeed. Valerio took care of me and my safety from the beginning. His experience made me think more about the trip rather then the danger. I enjoyed fully the walk, the panorama, drinking pure water, visiting secret caves and waterfalls. He is fun and funny. It feel you are going on a stroll with a longtime friend.
