About Tom Horrocks
I started guiding 10 years ago with a mixture of water-sports and mountain leading. These activities soon progressed into expedition leading in Nepal, Tibet and Central America. Now I spend more time closer to home guiding small technical mountains in Scottish winter and North Wales during the summer. I also enjoy guiding on Isle of Skye once or twice per year where there are famous mountaineering routes for all abilities. I also spend time as a personal trainer getting people prepared for mountaineering goals such as a first Himalayan peak or improving a climbing performance. I love the variety and people I meet while working; it makes life feel like one big adventure.
