About Tim Steward
IFMGA / NZMGA Mountain and Ski Guide Originally from South Wales, UK, Tim started rock climbing at the local crags in Wales and South West England. Whilst studying engineering at Bath University, Tim climbed throughout the UK including Winter climbing trips to Scotland, Norway and extended summer visits European Alps. In 2008 Tim and his (now) wife traveled to New Zealand on holiday. They liked it so much that they ended up staying. In 2010 Tim decided to make the move to guiding and began working all over the Southern Alps. He has climbed and guided extensively throughout New Zealand. His favorite area is the Darran Mountains in Fiordland for its outstanding alpine rock climbing and winter climbing.
