About Paul Williams

I am passionate about mountains and the mountain environment and have been a guide since 2010. I specialise in multi-day refuge to refuge treks in the beautiful Pyrenees. A particular interest of mine is World War 2 escape and evasion routes over the Pyrenees from France to Spain, used by those wanting to escape Nazi persecution. Come and walk in the footsteps of heroes and experience what it was like for those walking to freedom (shot down allied aircrew, spies, jews, young French wanting to join the Free French Forces) and the brave people in the escape and evasion networks who helped them.
