About Pasang Ongchu Sherpa
I was born in Bung, Cherem, Solukhumbu, Lower Everest region and I'm a certified Mountain Guide working in the field of trekking, peak climbing and mountaineering in Nepal, Tibet, and Peru for the last 10 years. I have completed my professional training including courses in Trekking Guiding, Basic Rock Climbing and Mountaineering, Advanced Mountaineering, High Mountain Rescue, Specialty Rescue, Aspirant Guide and Mountain Guide from authorized training centers. I'm now associated with the Nepal Mountaineering Association, and the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association, the country’s renowned mountaineering organizations. I have successfully climbed 19 high mountains in Nepal, Tibet and Peru for a total of 67 summits. The professional knowledge gained during my training and extensive working experience has helped me to succeed in the high mountains.
