About Norbert Kutschera

I grew up in the Allgäu Region in the Bavarian Alps. After finishing my service as a mountain guide in the Army, I moved to Murnau, 20 km north of the highest mountain in Germany (Zugspitze 2964 m). I live here with my family and have been guiding for the Alpinschule in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for many years. I have also led several Mont Blanc ascents and have climbed 25 mountains over 4000m. During the summer, I guide mostly in the Region of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. During the winter, I guide mostly ski touring routes in Switzerland and Austria.
