Great itinerary. Beautiful country. Loved the challenge (for me new to MTB). Would love to do more riding and hiking. Maybe spend less time eating and drinking!

Our adventure had so many highlights, none of us had only one! From the cycling to a remote church on top of a mountain for a surprise picnic, to the amazing lunch prepared by Mateja at Garden of Taste and the wine tasting and lunch at Zalatel (on our bike route) - and so many more highlights - first class!!!

The guide took us to an adventure program , the beauty of the mountains with lovely plains, waterfalls, old villages full of churches, we had enough rest or foto moments and lunches in mountain cottage’s. We meet the friendly people of Slovenia and ended with 2 days on the coast and 3 cultural days in Ljubljana. A perfect opportunity.

This was a highlight of our trip! Nejc planned an amazing ride for us and was so kind, flexible, and communicative. This is a great way to see Slovenia and the route is through very well-kempt gravel roads with minimal cars so it felt very safe. He gave great recommendations for dining and points of interest along the way.

Just returned from the most fabulous holiday in Slovenia. A new destination for us & an absolute gem. Pristine clean, picture postcard perfect, friendly welcoming accommodation, people & great restaurants. Our trip was organised from start to finish by Nejc from HourAway as a e-bike & hike tour. The e-bikes were super & Nejc’s instruction gave our group the confidence to enjoy them from the start & push that little bit harder to fully enjoy the amazing views from high & sweeping downhills. We swam in lakes, rafted down a clear azure river & enjoyed local food & wine together in traditional restaurants & wineries in out-of-the-way places. This was all due to Nejc’s organisation & creativity devising our itinerary to fit within the number of days we had together. Above all we got to know Nejc & enjoy his company. He is so proud of his country & his enthusiasm for outdoor activities made the most of the scenery, mountains, rivers, villages & local culture. It is without doubt the perfect way to enjoy Slovenia. Go ahead & try it!

Five stars aren’t even enough to give Houraway. If you are looking for a local and an absolute expert of all of Slovenia, with the kindest and most thoughtful personality, who just wants to make the perfect adventure specifically for you, then look no further and book Houraway, right away. I’d biked through Slovenia before and wanted a more unique experience, to see the hidden gems of this beautiful country, and that is the tour Nejc designed. Najc made us feel very welcomed to his country Slovenia. We experienced and learned the Slovenia culture while biking and hiking through the country. We were treated as family everywhere we went.
