This was a perfect way to gain confidence and learn new skills on the trail.
I had a great overall experience. The adventure was well programmed for beginners to learn the essentials. I was challenged and frustrated by the pace on the first long day. Splitting the group on the second 11 miler improved my experience. I learned a lot about backpacking and a lot about myself. Thank you
We hiked part of. the PCT that was beautiful, challenging, and amazing in all the best ways. The trees, the mountains, the lakes, and the miles! The other women on the trip were truly inspiring. My life is better for going on this adventure!
Great camaraderie in a beautiful setting. Despite our prior experience (and accidentally scheduling a beginner trip), we still learned a lot from our incredibly experienced and generous guides, which will be of great help as we plan future trips on our own.
Had a fantastic time - the trip was challenging and pushed me out of my comfort zone. First time I had done a backpacking trip. Other women on the trip were an inspiration. Guides told me it was OK to be at the back of the pack...harder for me to be in that position...I'm a "gunner", I strive to be the best. This trip humbled me.
The PCT adventure did not disappoint! The entire team of guides and fellow backpackers were all so personable, knowledgable, adaptive and eager to try new things, that it made the experience a memorable one. I'm already ready to do this again.
Beautiful scenery & trail but most importantly we LEARNED so we can continue trekking & camping. The group members were wonderful as well
My adventure included 2 eleven hour drives to get to the Oregon and then the hike. I like that there were women of a variety of ages. Like myself over 60
This was a a great opportunity to have a taste of hiking on the PCT. Though the hikes were not as strenuous as some of the practice hikes I did, I love that our guides gave us the flexibility to split into two groups on Day 3, so stronger hikers can do a longer route. I really appreciate Kaylee's emphasis on getting fitted with the right pack, breaking in our shoes and training before the trip - all of that definitely helped with my enjoyment on the PCT! Two thumbs up!
Was a very pretty area of the Pacific Crest trail. Was challenging but doable.
