Monte

​​We did a two-day alpine climbing trip with Monte this August. We do a lot of hiking, but we had limited climbing experience. Monte was a generous and awesome guide! He taught us patiently and in an intelligent way all the needed techniques. We had a great time, we learned a lot, all in a beautiful setting! We want to come back!

I have used Black Sheep Adventure Sports for Technical mountaineering courses, guided trips, and rock climbing training. They are always my go to for whenever I am looking into guided trips and I argue they are the best in the business. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for highly trained, fun, and safe guides/instructors.

I have done multiple instruction courses and guided trips with BlackSheep Adventure Sports over the past years, and can’t praise Monte’s professionalism and experience as a guide enough. Monte has been my trusted mentor on my journey to become an alpinist. During all the group courses and trips he still paid close attention to my individual development and risk tolerance, and he keeps pushing me to the next level, taking me places I’d never imagine I could go. We are already planning what training and trips we could do next. He also brews a pretty decent alpine coffee, so that’s a plus. 😉
