About Michal Lollok

My name is Michal and I was born in the north of Bohemia - in the landscape of ​​Labské pískovce, which is a well-known climbing area and part of the Czech-Saxon Switzerland National Park. I am certified UIMLA mountain leader, instructor of alpine tourism, first aid instructor and also the president of the Czech Mountain Leader Association and the head of education of national and international mountain leaders in Czech Republic. I dedicate all-year-round leading clients in the summer and winter mountains. I am the founder and owner of the Mountain School company, and I work as a instructor for courses in mountains (equipped path, snowshoes, VHT, avalanche courses, security courses and first aid) for the public as well as for professionals. Among the most popular places on Earth are for me the Julian Alps (Slovenia) and Triglav, where I stood more than 50 times a lifetime. All year round I work in the Alps (Slovenia, Austria, Italy), but also in the Carpathians (Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Montenegro). As my „home mountains“, I consider the Southern Alps where I regularly return for many weeks of the year. I like to meet new people, landscapes, taste local specialties. My motto: "We go to the mountains to live, not to die."
