About Matej Kovacic
I am IFMGA qualified mountain guide and a professor of Physical Education based in Tržič, Slovenia. I have been discovering mountains for the last 30 years from Slovenia to the Himalayas. Sports have been a central part of my life since I was a kid. I started training in a football team and then I discovered the freedom of mountains. Climbing, off piste skiing, paragliding and mountain biking are my favorite activities. I enjoy helping other people to learn sports. Discovering new places from a different prospective - climbing high mountains, steep rock faces, skiing powder, flying or mountain biking are my passion.
