About Martín Heredia
My name is Martin and people call me “Jimmy”. I live in the Chaltén where I work as a mountain guide. In Patagonia, I ascended the west face of Cerro Torre, “vía Ragnni di Lecco”; the Fitz Roy and the Poincenot needle. I have also climbed high mountains in the north of Argentina and Peru. I have been a trekking guide since 2001 and UIAGM mountain guide since 2008. My wife is mountain guide too, and we organise together expeditions and traverses of the Southern Patagonian Icefield.
