About Luis Pardo
Hi, my name is Luis. I am an engineer who has made the mountains my way of life. I live in Machetá, a small village 80 km north of Bogotá, where is one of the best climbing spots in the country. I have been a travel guide throughout Colombia since 2007 and in 2013 I was certified by the Association of Mountain Guides and Climbers in Colombia (ACGME) as a Rock Climbing Instructor. I can take you to the some of the many climbing sites in the country, mainly in Suesca, Machetá and Sutatausa, very close to Bogotá. Also, we can go on trekkings and outings and enjoy walks through Colombia’s stunning nature. In addition to providing for maximum safety possible during the climbs, I am also a writer for mountain magazines and a I love stories, so I always enjoy a good conversation during a day of climbing.
