**Small-Group & Bespoke Mountain Expeditions** Klättermusen Experiences specialises in off-piste ski trips in the Nordic region, with a focus on Finnmark, 70° to 71° north of the Arctic Circle. It is one of Norway’s least-travelled regions for skiers, and that is exactly why we go there. Our Head of Guides, Fred Buttard, has been leading groups in Finnmark for nearly 20 years of his 25 guiding worldwide. He has worked across the Alps and beyond, yet Finnmark is where he calls home away from home. Every IFMGA guide we work with is personally chosen by him for their judgement, adaptability, and depth of mountain knowledge. Groups are limited to a maximum of eight, keeping each journey personal while opening up terrain few ever reach. The strength of these trips lies not only in the guiding but in the full team behind them. Our operations crew manages the logistics, hospitality, and details that turn a remote Arctic trip into something seamless. From airport transfers to the trailhead, from coordinating with local partners to serving homemade meals in fjordside lodges, they create the conditions for guests to feel at home even this far north. Whether you join a set departure such as Untouched Finnmark or ask us to create a custom journey, the principle remains the same: small groups, wild mountains where you may not see another soul, and a team whose expertise runs from the ridgelines to the lodge.
