IFMGA/UIAGM guide from Spain. I was born in 1960, and started practicing mountaineering when I was 13 years old. In 1998 I got my IFMGA/UIAGM international certification. I live in the town of Sotres, in Picos de Europa National Park. Most of my professional experience in alpinism, skiing and climbing took place in the European ranges, mainly in Picos de Europa and the Alps. But I also have experience in the Himalayas. Before becoming a guide I was also ski instructor and piste patrol.
