About John McCune
I am originally from Northern Ireland but I currently spend most of my time based in Chamonix in the French Alps. Growing up I developed a passion for the outdoors. I loved exploring our little Irish mountains and learned to climb and have big adventures whatever the weather. After many years climbing and skiing in the alps and further afield, I qualified as an IFMGA guide in 2016. I have skied and climbed extensively around the alps especially in the Chamonix Valley which I now call home. It is a privilege to be able to work in the big mountains, guiding and sharing my knowledge and experience with others.
