About James Monypenny
My Name is James Monypenny. I have been a passionate rock climber for 15 years, and I have been working as a professional, qualified Rock Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor and Mountain Leader for 12 years. I have climbed new routes on unclimbed peaks all over the world, in exciting places such as Patagonia, Peru, Kyrgyzstan, China, Bolivia, Pakistan, India, Tajikistan and Nepal, but the cliffs and mountains of Snowdonia, in Wales, remain the most special to me, as I am lucky enough to call them home. I guide multi-pitch classic Snowdonia climbs, classic roped scrambles, introduction to sea cliff climbing, and other great courses and tours for beginners and experienced climbers.
