The trip was well planned and adjusted based on the group and weather. Every day was better than expected. Jacob was very patient. He explained what to expect at the start of each hike and shared knowledge about history and area plant and wildlife along the way. I am slow going downhill due to knee concerns and he was helpful and taught me some ways to use my poles to make it easier. We have gone on many guided hikes. This was one of the best. I highly recommend Jacob. He helped us plan our next trip while we were on this one.

Had an unforgettable five-day hike with Jacob in the Rockies. Although the fires near Jasper forced us to adjust our itinerary, we still explored incredible places and set our priorities as a group along the way. The best part was the endless conversations we shared while walking — fun, engaging, and full of laughter. A special highlight was reaching the peak and being surprised with tea and Jacob’s wife’s delicious carrot cake — such a thoughtful touch! I highly recommend hiking with Jacob: it’s safe, exciting, and simply a great experience.

I had such a memorable hike with Jacob over the course of 5 days in Banff national park.The group size was perfect 4 of us. We had a chance to interact on and off the trail like a drink or dinner after the hike. Jacob’s knowledge of mountains and the area, also with his mountaineering experiences give us a full trust and confidence. I highly recommend Jacob if you want to explore Banff National Park.

I would and have recommended my experience to many people. It was exciting , thrilling and totally out of my comfort zone. I felt secure and safe at all times with you being our guide. Even being at extreme heights and endurance, I was not concerned that I was not going to make it back. And I believe that was all due to your patience and ability to calm my anxieties during the Cory’s Pass. Lol!! I had a great time and did not regret any of it. I can’t thank you enough for all I learned and experience on the hiking trip, glad I took the plunge to plan.

I had a guided tour with Jacob of Lake O’Hara and surrounding area. He was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to make the day a success to see all that I wanted to see.
