About Heli Rettensteiner

I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide from Austria. Since 22 years, I have been working full-time as a mountain and ski guide. Some of the highlights of my career include the Big Wall in Yosemite, many alpine climbs in the Alps, America and Australia; and in 2015, I climbed Ama Dablam and Lobuche in Nepal. I manage the Berg und Abenteur alpine school with my wife Martina and with Gerhard, a certified ski instructor, mountain and ski guide. We offer a great variety of mountain programs in different areas. Most of them take place in Schladming-Dachstein region where we are located. We also propose programs in some of the mythical mountains of the Alps such as Grossglockner, Piz Bernina and in the Dolomites range. The offer is really varied, from ski touring, freeride skiing to Ice climbing, for all ski and climbing levels. Our priority is set on “Safety”. We want you to enjoy the most of this amazing region.
