About Giovanni Orlando

I was born in the plain in 1983, but as often happens to those who were born there, I have always loved the mountains. I was three years old when I wore my first skis, not knowing that this would become my strongest passion ... Skiing, walking, climbing: it is since I was a child that I go to the mountains, first with my parents and my grandfather and then with my friends. The degree in forestry science was only the logical consequence of this passion, as well as the beautiful summers spent managing the refuge Capanna Punta Penia in Marmolada (the highest refuge in the Dolomites, on top of the highest mountain in the Dolomites!), which I call "the bus without wheels" and all over the Dolomites! The last step (for now...) was to become a Mountain Guide, to let you experience what the mountain transmits to me! … and to show you the famous " bus without wheels”
