About Francisco Javier Zamarreño Bueno
I love mountains, nature, animals and sports. That's why I became a guide, so I can share with others these passions and amazing places. I live in a small town called Plasencia, surrounded by the beautiful Sierra de Gredos, La Vera (Gredos south face with nice canyons), Jerte Valley (with Garganta de los Infiernos Nature Reserve and it's famous cherries), Monfragüe National Park, Sierra de Gata... I started guiding in 2002, and obtained my AEGM and UIMLA guide certifications in 2012. My hobbies are closely related to my work: climbing, alpinism, canyoning, btt, kayaking, skiing...
