About Federico Politi
I was born in a very cold December in Abetone, a small village nested along the ridge of Appennino Tosco Emiliano. Legend has it that when I was only 7-months old I started to walk, an activity I still practise. In 2008, following a great passion, I became a an AMSI Ski Instructor. Some years later, I got a degree in Economy of Tourism at Firenze's University and a specialization course in marketing. Thereafter, I spent a couple of years working in different cities far away from my home mountains. That was when I decided that my life should be on a mountain ridge, or in a valley, walking in a forest or in a field full of flowers, but always surrounded by the green of Mother Nature. So, I started to work as Hiking Guide, becoming a proud ambassador of my land and my traditions. Join me on a trip and I wil take you to discover the real heart of the mountains of Tuscany and the real soul of the Appennines!
