About Ariel Puntin
Certified UIAGM-IFMGA Mountain Guide from Argentina. I have been living in El Chalten, south Patagonia, since 2006. There I can develop my passion for climbing and backcountry skiing. With more than 12 years of experience as a mountain guide, I have led ascents, climbs and backcountry ski tours in different parts of Argentina and other countries such as Perú, Bolivia, France, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the Arctic. I am AIARE (Avalanch, Research, Education) certified at levels 1 and 2. In addition, I am WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certified and member of El Chaltén Search and Rescue team (CAX). I speak spanish and english. Please reach out to me if you are interested in discovering the incredible mountains and landscapes around Fitz Roy and Cerro Torres massifs.
