About Andrei Badea
Having known mountains since childhood, I became a guide in 2017, after years of hiking, scrambling and climbing in the Carpathians. I am a state-certified Mountain Guide and International Mountain Leader, member of SGLM, the UIMLA-affiliated association in Romania. My great passion is scrambling in Bucegi and Piatra Craiului, unique areas and scenic routes found only in this corner of the Carpathians, but I also love climbing classic routes, mountaineering and hiking in seldom travelled places, where one can have a truly adventurous and natural experience. Any tour with me involves a deep preparation and realistic view regarding the experience of the group relative to the proposed goal, so as to never compromise on safety and the guiding etiquette that I adhere to.
