About Amin Moein
My name is Amin. I am a certified ski, mountaineering and mountain biking guide, based in Tehran. I used to go to the mountains as a kid, since I was 6 years old. When I was a teenager, I always dreamed becoming a mountain guide. Now I am the vice-president of the Iran Mountain Guiding Association, a full member of BMC and member of UIAA. I have experience climbing 7000-meter mountains. Some of my published material includes “Noshaq, a different peak” ( 2010), about my journey in Hindukosh; a “Climbing Dictionary” (2016), includes English to Persian mountain terms and “Mountain Environment Protection” (2018), about mountain ecosystems and ways of protecting the mountains. Now I am certifed as a ski, mountain and mountain biking guide in Iran, and international IFMGA mountain guide.
