About Alessandro Mezzavilla

I am a mountain guide and mountain rescuer based in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Extremely passionate about ski mountaineering, I'm also a regional champion and the editor of ski mountaineering guide "Orizzonti Bianchi". I know the wild Valpelline inside and out and have opened many climbing routes here, both on rock and ice. My adventures have taken me all over the world, including: Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Kenya, Reunion Island, Kalymnos in Greece, Pranang in Thailand, Turkey, the US (El Capitan), Patagonia, Norway, Nepal, Pakistan and Bolivia, among others. Apart from guiding, I also manage a small B&B in the mountains in the Aosta Valley.
